Senior SU - For all Pupils Yrs 11-14.
Senior SU is organised by a pupil committee of six and Mr. Robinson is the techer in charge of overseeing all that we do - this website, for example.
We meet every Monday at lunch-time to worship together and listen to speakers from local Christian leaders or speakers. Our theme throughout this year has been "Back2BBasics" and our speakers have centred around this theme with various topics.
We believe that it is important that our faith overflows into school life, so, as well as encouraging each other to share our faith daily with our friends, we have organised numerous events as an expression of Christ's love for our friends. This year, Alan Scott, pastor at Causeway Coast Vineyard, led a series of five talks on different topics, as part of our week of outreach, entitled "Back2Basics" We also held a week of free tea, coffee and biscuits for the whole school and these were, needless to say, hugely popular.
Our goal is to portray Christ as fully relevant to our school so we want to break the existing SU stereotype and long to show Christ as he really is. Jesus loves everyone in Dalriada and we are dedicated to getting that message across.
We pray together daily and meet regularly to worship and share with one another.
